Oily Skin? Here’s How To Fix It

Skincare Products For Oily Skin.

Having a shiny and oily face is one of the worse feelings, so I decided to put together a list of just a FEW of the very affordable Skincare products I use to control oily skin.

I would say I have combination skin, the T-zone (forehead, nose & chin) has a higher amount of oil glands, then the rest of my face gets dry at times. Controlling the oil in the T-zone can be a challenge, remember all skin is different and very personal. All these products work for me, if you have similar skin to what I described I would recommended giving these a try.

1. Best Face Forward Daily Foaming Cleanser by Formula 10.0.6

This passionfruit and green tea foaming gel cleanser makes your face feeling fresh! It smells great, it’s gentle, not greasy and balances the skin. It washes away the oil, making your face clean! I recommend using this product twice a day (morning and night) to keep your skin healthy. Click here to buy.

2. Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser by Bioré

I would say this cleanser is my all time favourite! It works better then just a normal cleanser, it draws out dirt and goes deep into your skin. It gives you a tingly clean feeling on your face after using it, I love it! This product is oil free, which is exactly what you need. I only just ran out of this product which is why there’s no photo, but I still wanted to include it as it’s one of the best. Click here to buy.

3. 9 To 5 Cleansing Lotion by Lush

This is different compared to your average cleansers, this is one is a cleansing ‘lotion’! It’s quick and easy, rub a tiny bit on your face all over, damp a soft towel or makeup pad with warm water and lightly rub off. It cleans off your makeup, clears your skin and leaves you feeling fresh. Also there’s no need to moisturise your face afterwards as it does that for you too! Click here to buy.

1. Breath Of Fresh Air Toner Water by Lush

Another quick and easy product from Lush, this toner water comes in a spray bottle and is great for when you want to quickly freshen up your face. Not only does it make your skin feeling clean, it smells like the ocean air!! This is great for combination skin like mine. Click here to buy.

2. Young Oil Control Toning Lotion by Natio

This works like a gem!! It deeply purifies the skin, gets rid of excess oil build up and also any remaining dirt or makeup. This is a perfect toner to use daily after using your cleanser. Click here to buy.

Face Masks:

1. Pure Clay Mask Purifying & Mattifying Eucalyptus Mask by L’Oréal

Great to use once a week, goes deep into your skin and cleans all the built up dirt. Focus on your T-zone when applying to rebalance the skin. Click here to buy.

2. Take Back Control Oil- Controlling Mud Mask by Formula 10.0.6

This mudmask is a superfood mask making it more health boosting for the skin and less shine! It’s also the best smelling mask, coconut and cacao is the best combination, leaves your face smelling nice for the rest of the night. Click here to buy.

1.Vitamin E Moisture Cream by The Body Shop

This face moisturizer is great for your skin on a daily basis. If you add this light cream moisturizer into your daily skin care routine, it won’t dissapoint! Click here to buy.

2. Maximum Moisture Super Hydrating Gel by Avon

This is the best for summer time, because it’s a water gel it’s nice and cold on the face! It’s great for dry areas, keeps the skin feeling healthy and hydrater. Another great this is that it can also be used as a mask! Click here to buy.

There you go, these are my top favourite skin products to stop shiny and oily looking skin!

Another great product is oil sheets! Which are small pieces of thin sheets that you patt around your face which soaks up the oil, keeping them in your bag comes in handy for through out the day.

Hope some of these products help your skin looking and feeling more healthier!

xx Krystal

  1. I 100% agree for the formula 10.0.6 Best face forward! I love the smell of it and works super well on my oily skin aswell. Although my skin reacts badly to the face masks 😦 They kinda burn my face. Great Post! Thank you for sharing 🙂
