The Best & Worse Movies I’ve PAID To See!!

Movie Recommendations.

Over the last four years I have collected 44 movie tickets to all the movies I’ve seen since 2014, some were amazing and some were…. a waste of money!

So I’m going to share the main movies that I absolutely loved and absolutely hated.

(These are just my opinions, some people may think differently about these movies)

Unfriended – 2014

I was not dissapointed with this movie! I love how the entire film is shown on a laptop screen, it’s such a clever idea. Plus it made the movie more thrilling, every plot twist could not be predicted.

Love The Coopers – 2015

I am obsessed with this movie!! It’s one of my top five Christmas movies.

This film really shows the true meaining of family. There is multiple story lines with different characters, similar to the movie Love Actually (my all time favourite film!!). I highly recommend watching this during the holidays infront of the christmas tree.

Crimson Peak – 2015

“What a waste of money”, are the exact words my friends and I said walking out of the cinema only 10 minutes into the movie.

Now I know we didn’t really give the movie a chance, maybe if we stayed we might have liked it! But I believe the first 10 minutes of a movie should be so good that it makes people want to keep watching. This movie was not one of them.

Sisters – 2015

As you can tell I loved this movie so much I saw it twice! It’s such a great comedy and has two of the most funniest female actresses. If you’re wanting a laugh, Netflix has recently added this great movie!!

Sausage Party – 2016

I feel like this is one of those movies where a lot of people loved it and a lot of people hated it… I hated it. It’s such a stupid movie! The trailer just made it look like it’s food trying to stay alive at the supermarket which sounded like such an entertaining movie. But they added so much silly stuff, didn’t find it good at all.

Don’t Breathe – 2016

This is a must watch!!! A massive plot twist at the end that you do not expect!! It’s not a ‘jump scare’ kind of movie but trust me, when you watch it you’ll be holding your breath.

The Visit – 2015

If you’re looking for a funny thriller, then this is it! Once again a massive plot twist at the end, it gave me many goosebumps. So many little things happen that makes you giggle, so it’s not all scary.

Fantastic Beasts – 2016

I wanted to like this movie so so much! I’m a huge fan of the Harry Potter series, but Fantastic Beasts did not live up to my expectations. It’s not that it wasn’t good, just wasn’t what I thought it would be.

If I Stay – 2014

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I was balling my eyes out during this entire movie, so many emotions. And THE ENDING, my goodness!!! If you haven’t seen the film, please do!

Jigsaw – 2017

Being the silly person I am, I didn’t realise this was one of the Saw movies until the day after. I enjoyed this movie, I thought the ‘game’ that Saw made them play was so clever. After seeing this, I then watched the previous Saw movies (all EIGHT of them) and realised the new one wasn’t as good compared to the originals. But I still really enjoyed it!

Downsizing – 2017

Hate, awful, not good at all!! If you saw the trailer to this movie, you would think it looks like a funny movie… it’s not. It’s so depressing. The trailer makes it look so much better then it actually is.

Maze Runner: The Death Cure – 2018

This last Maze Runner movie probably my favourite! It’s hard to decide because they’re all so good. So many characters die and someone who we thought was dead… isn’t! Loved it!

They were my top favourites and least favourite from the many movies I’ve paid to see over the last few years.

If you saw any of the movies I mentioned, I would love to hear your review on them! Did you hate the ones I hated? Or did you love them?

xx Krystal
